HIV/AIDS Study 

While sporadic cases of AIDS were documented prior to 1970, available data suggests that the current epidemic started in the mid- to late 1970s. In the United States alone, nearly 56,000 new HIV cases and 18,000 related deaths are reported annually. And, there are currently 1.1 million Americans living with the disease. September 2007: Used the non-invasive light treatment delivered under the tongue and for 2 hours daily (1 hour am/1 hour pm)for the first 40 treatments sessions.
December 2007: Continued light treatment.
August 2008 - December 2008: Intermittent use of light therapy.
December 2008: Device recalibrated and continued use. The treatments were administered with Dr. Francis Avi of St. Camilus Tabaka Mission Hospital in Kissi, Africa. Viral load testing was administered by Nyumbani Diagnostics Labaratory in Nairobi, Africa.

HEPATITIS C STUDY

HCV infection is the most common cause of chronic liver disease in North America. Approximately 2% of adults in the United States have been exposed to the virus, and of them, 75-85% are chronically infected. September 2007: Used the non-invasive light treatment delivered under the tongue and for 2 hours daily (1 hour am/1 hour pm) in combination with covalent silver water 2/3rd cup before each treatment (mixed as 2oz/gallon of water) for the first 40 treatments sessions.
December 2007: Continued light treatment in combination with nano-oxygen infused water (8oz) prior to each treatment for (had 4 gallons) (@128 oz/gallon) until completion.
Spring 2008: Used light therapy with one dropper of 500ppm colloidal silver (Natural Path/Silver Wing).
November 15- December 30, 2008 – Intermittent use of light therapy.
December 28, 2008: Device recalibrated, and optimal dose combined with begun Branson (oxygenated water).

MALARIA STUDY

Malaria is a public health problem for Peru, where malaria increased fourfold from 1992 to 1997, and chloroquine and pyrimethamine-sulfadoxine drug-resistant P. falciparum strains have emerged. In light of these factors, a variation on an old non-pharmacologic treatment was applied in 3 cases. This report focuses on the clinical presentation and treatment with ultraviolet C light of 3 malaria cases. Two patients with malaria vivax and one with falciparum decided not to receive the pharmacological treatment but instead, by their own choice, opted to receive the ultraviolet C light (at a wavelength of 254 nm) sublingually. The disappearance of the symptoms, negative thick drop and the absence of parasites in the patients that received ultraviolet C light suggests further studies with application of ultraviolet C sublingually is warranted as a promising therapy for malaria treatment.
